Hello and thanks for stopping by! I’m Faye, a knitwear designer and maker based in Bristol. I have been knitting for about 10 years and blogging on and off about yarn, needles, free patterns, crochet and all sorts of crafts since 2008.
Here you will find my gallery, patterns and blog, links to my Ravelry, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest (see links above), plus shops where I’m selling patterns and the blogs I am reading/working on.
My mum taught me to knit when I was 5 – I have early memories of sitting with a skein around my wrists while she wound it into a ball. I had a big imagination though and I suppose got interested in other things until I was older. When I was 21, I found myself at a house party, and one of the girls there had a bag of knitting. I thought it was so cool, I made her remind me how to do it there and then, and since that evening I’ve been hooked. I love the whole process of buying a ball of yarn and turning it into a beautiful garment.
When I’m not knitting or designing, I can be found sewing, baking, taking photos or just hanging around on Ravelry drooling over yarn and needles, and wishing I had enough time to make everything!
