Inspired to create something for British springtime, this hat came about after 2 years of wondering what to make with this lovely yarn. Manos del Uruguay is a silk and merino blend and is seriously scrummy! It is the softest thing ever and this hat has become a firm favourite. I just love how the colour works with the pattern, and how you can see the change in the dye in certain lights.

Buy the whole set – Nordic Lace Hat, Mitts and Cowl for only £8.00 in a neat mini e-book! I used less than 200g of DK yarn to make all three of these, the hat and mitts with 100g, and the other skein for the cowl. The yarn goes such a long way in this pattern
